►  Makes 2 servings
2  cups (400 g) sliced frozen bananas

4 pitted dates (65 g)

3  tablespoons (30 g) cocoa powder

2 tablespoons (23 g) hemp seeds

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Pinch of salt

1 cup (235 ml) coconut water Ice (optional)

Place all ingredients in a blender and purée until completely smooth. Add ice while blending if you would like a colder smoothie. Serve.

 

Recipe Notes

If your dates seem tough or dry, soak them in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain. This should give your blender a bit of a break!
