1½ tbsp (20g) coconut oil
½ cup (15g) crunchy vegan chocolate cereal ½ cup (100g) date paste (from a health food store) ½ cup (50g) ground hazelnuts ½ cup (50g) ground almonds 1oz (30g) shredded coconut |
Heat the oil in a small pan over low heat. Slightly crush the chocolate cereal and mix with the oil, date paste, hazelnuts, and almonds to create an even mixture that you can shape easily.
Spread the coconut on a plate. Shape 10 balls from the date and nut mixture and roll them in the coconut, pressing it in gently to make it stick. Chill the energy balls for 1–2 hours. |
