3/4 pound (340 g) broccolini

2 tablespoons (28 ml) olive oil

3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/3 cup (32 g) sliced almonds

1/4 teaspoon salt

Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C, or gas mark 5) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

 

In a large bowl, toss together the broccolini, olive oil, garlic, and oregano and then spread the mixture out on the baking sheet in a single layer.

 

Bake for 10 minutes and then take the baking sheet out of the oven and sprinkle the almond slices, salt, and pepper over the top. Return to the oven and bake for 5 more minutes to brown the almonds slightly. Serve hot.
